Well, it's comin' back around again. I was afraid when I heard Harmonix wasn't working on it, but hallelujia, It looks like it's gonna be good. Vs. play is not switching off on parts of a song, it is now a fucking BATTLE. You FIGHT. With guitars. The fact that str power becomes ways to fuck up the other person pleases me very much so.

Also the set list is godly. It's not all out yet, but there are rumors floating around of Hammerfall and ACDC still making an apearance. Here's some of the songs I'm most pleased to see.

"Anarchy in the UK" by the Sex Pistols

They got back in the studio and rerecorded the song for the game, which is never a bad thing. I love the old old school punk very much. Whenever I was in high school and everyone was getting into "punk" such as Blink 182 and Green Day, I was listening to Rancid, these guys and the Dead Kennedys. Which brings me to the next one:

"Holiday in Cambodia" by the Dead Kennedys

My favorite DK song. Hopefully it will be of the original version with the polpotpolpotpolpot instead of just the pol.... pot.... Also, this will be the first time GH will have to censor a song for the infamous "N Word"

"Paint it Black" by the Rolling Stones

Is going to be fucking fun. Also I am a horrible human being for making that transition. However, someone who is NOT a horrible human being would be...

Original Recording Guitar battle with Tom Morello

I was hoping for a Zakk Wylde when it was announced that there would be two real guitarists in game, but Tom will do just fine. Of course this song leads into:

"Bulls on Parade" by Rage Against the Machine

I thought this song should have been in II instead of Killing in the Name of, but we get em both, so eh, what the hell. Also, beating Tom at his own song makes it so that he has to humble himself by playing this song with you, after which, he becomes a playable character. Just like:

Another original recording, which he was also mocapped for. The video i have seen of it looks batshit insane. Beat this and Slash gets to Jam with you on

"Welcome to the Jungle" by GnR

Oh hell yeah. Beat it and he's unlockable, just like the final boss of the game, which is rumored to be

Lou

Cipher. The last level is called "Lou's Inferno" and it is rumored that he will be the last boss for you to beat. And then you get to do the ultimate battle:

"The Devil Went Down to Georgia" by Charlie Daniels Band

I about shat upon finding this out. Hopefully, you get to play a fiddle for this song. And when you beat it, you unlock the Gibson SFMOG or Shiny Fiddle Made of Gold. But if you lose the Devil will have....

"One" by Metallica

TAKEN YOUR SOUL, LEFT YOU WITH LIFE IN HEE-ELLLLLLLL. Number three on my all time favorite songs list, Metallica's one, which is sure to piss me off to no end and I will never beat it on Expert, just like

"Cult of Personality" by Living Color

Number 4 on that favorite songs list. It is said to be near impossible on expert. Why? They couldn't find the master, so the band rerecorded it and made a new solo. The original was crazy enough.

"Number of the Beast" by Iron Maiden

Speaking of fucking crazy, this one is batshit. Probably somewhere between number 10 and 6 on my all time fave list, although for the Iced Earth cover.

"Cities on Flame with Rock n Roll" by Blue Oyster Cult

They covered this one too. I also prefer the ICed Earth version, but it should be rockin. Also, they covered some Black Sabbath on that CD. Although they did not do:
